About the Healthy Communities small grants programme

The Healthy Communities small grants programme launched in October 2011. It is suitable for projects that:

• are requesting between £5,000 and £10,000
• last up to 12 months
• are based and operate within one of the local society lotteries
• are run by local charities and community groups with an annual income of less than £75,000 a year

How to get an application form

Step one: Check that the funding programme in your local society lottery is open. You can only make an application if the funding programme is open in your area.

Step two: Download the guidance notes and check that your project is eligible. To do this you need to enter your postcode, town or local authority by using the search tool below and select ‘Search’.

Step three: Request an application form, complete it, and return it to us
