People's Health Trust believes in a world without health inequalities. We work to ensure that where you live does not unfairly reduce the length of your life, or the quality of your health. Through our funding and support, we encourage resident-led approaches to have an impact on the real causes of health inequalities, supporting longer-term and systemic changes at a local level.

We are seeking a new Chair to lead the Trust through the next phase of the Trust's development as it moves into greater influencing and partnership work. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to social justice and an understanding of health inequalities and their socio-economic causes. They will bring experience as a charity trustee, or similar, to lead the board in overseeing the success of the Trust.

We want to ensure our Board of Trustees reflects people we support through our work and are aware of the under-representation of certain groups in the sector. We therefore very much welcome applications from people from Black, Asian, and minoritised ethnic backgrounds, disabled people and people from lower socio-economic backgrounds.
