Free running in Fife

18 November 2013

“This new funding from People’s Health Trust has supported more young people to feel more confident and more engaged within their local community.”

Parkour is a movement discipline that involves highly acrobatic running; leaping, vaulting and rolling over everyday obstacles.

Through funding from People’s Health Trust, young people are taking up Parkour twice weekly in their local area, as well as volunteering on the project. Over 12 months the project will support over 200 young people.

"Coaching can effect a real and lasting change for the individual. These classes replicate successful programmes throughout Scotland where we've already helped to make a lasting impact with local communities.” Stuart, Director, Fife Parkour Coaching
