Time to celebrate

Celebrating five years of funding at the heart of local communities.

People's Health Trust is getting ready to celebrate its fifth anniversary this autumn and we would like you to get involved.

Whether you regularly volunteer at a project we’ve invested in, or you’ve been to an event organised by a Trust-funded project in your area, we’d like to hear from you. We’re looking for great photos and videos that show local people having fun, getting involved in groups and activities in their local area, and helping to make change happen.

For five years, People’s Health Trust has been supporting local residents as they take control of change in their local area. Our anniversary is a great time for Trust-funded projects to celebrate all the great work they’ve been doing to help reduce health inequalities.

If your local group or project is having summer party, an MP is visiting, or you have any other events planned, make sure you get in touch – we would be happy to send a photographer along to capture the highlights of the day, or you can send us your own photos.

We have funded a huge variety of projects over the last five years. From IT classes for older people, to craft sessions for adults who have limited English language skills, radio shows run by people with mental health issues and drama clubs for young people. The projects may vary, but what they all have in common is that they are led by local people. All of our funded projects give local residents the chance to design and deliver activities that will benefit local people the most.

There are plenty of ways you can stay in touch with the Trust. You can connect with us on LinkedIn, follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook. Our social media channels are a great way to keep up-to-date with what’s going on at People’s Health Trust, as well as finding out about the fantastic local projects we fund.

We are pleased to announce that, in the coming weeks, we will be launching an official People’s Health Trust Instagram account. This is another way that you can connect with us and join in the celebrations.
