Projects we fund
Through our funding programmes we support projects in areas of England, Scotland and Wales experiencing the highest levels of disadvantage which are most affected by health inequalities. The projects we fund are led by communities themselves to improve health and wellbeing in their neighbourhoods.

Justice Prince - Overcoming Barriers to Employment
James talks about the improvement to his mental health and the skills he’s learned as part of Justice Prince’s Barriers to Employment programme supporting young people to gain qualifications and training.

Projects
We fund projects that are genuinely designed and led by local people from diverse communities across England, Scotland and Wales. Find out more about projects we fund.

Project stories
Stories direct from the people involved in projects we fund. Read what they have to say about why their project was needed and the difference it is making in addressing health inequalities locally.

Running a project
Our support for funded partners includes training, resources and the opportunity to join our networks. Our programme of capacity building support is based on what our funded partners tell us they need.

Lived Experience Network
Our Lived Experience Network of over 600 grassroots community experts drawn from current and previously funded partners provides a forum for them to exchange skills and knowledge, inform programme design, take part in policy and research projects, and influence and mobilise for change.

360Giving
We publish our grant-making with 360Giving to make data about projects we fund freely accessible so that funders and charities across the UK can use data to improve grant-making practice.

Campaigns
We work with partners across Great Britain to act on the causes of health inequalities through policy, research and campaigns.
It's about everyday people making massive change. We can only do it when we come together.
