"For well over a decade, People’s Health Trust distributed more than £130 million, on behalf of local community interest companies, raised by The Health Lottery.
This close partnership enabled the Trust to award 3,500 grants addressing health inequalities to grassroots community organisations across Great Britain, helping hundreds of thousands of people in some of the nation’s most disadvantaged neighbourhoods to live longer, healthier lives."

Impact Stories
Men born in England’s most deprived areas can expect to die nearly 11 years earlier than men born in wealthy regions and spend almost 20 years in poor health.
Following research into men’s experiences via our network of community experts, we brought together employers to discuss this urgent issue. Recognising that men’s health impacts business performance, workforce resilience, families and wider societies, cross-sector conversations saw us launch a Men’s Health fund appeal. This enables doubling of donations via match-funding. There are also plans for a Men’s Health Business Forum.
