At People’s Health Trust, we believe the people most affected by health inequality should lead the conversation about change.
Through our trusted network of community expert by experience partners across England, Scotland and Wales, we:
- Listen to lived experiences to understand what isn’t working and what needs to change
- Collect evidence from grassroots experts to shape solutions for longer, healthier lives
- Share community insights to help national, regional and local decision-makers work together
- Gather and analyse national and community-level data to shape policy and delivery
By co-creating programmes with communities, we make sure they are inclusive, locally relevant and sustainable. Together we can stop people dying too young.

People’s Health Trust has served as an invaluable partner to Health Equals, the UK’s campaign for improving health opportunities. Thanks to the Trust’s insights, expertise and community connections to people at the sharp end of health inequality, the campaign has been able to illustrate how millions of people are being denied a fair chance at good health, and what we can do to change that.
