We are opening Nature for Health on 21 February. Applications will be open until 20 March.

Nature for Health will improve access to natural spaces and nature-based activities in order to improve mental health. This work complements our other priorities under the Health Justice Fund.

We will be open in the following regions/nations:

  • East - Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk
  • East Midlands - Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire
  • North West - Cheshire, Lancashire, Liverpool and the Wirral and Greater Manchester
  • West Midlands - Birmingham, Black Country, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire
  • Scotland -all areas
  • South West - Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire
  • South East - Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Sussex.

You must show clear evidence of need in this place by demonstrating how the people you plan to work with are experiencing mental health problems, marginalisation and discrimination. In addition, you will need to describe how the people you plan to work meet the Trust’s primary focus, which is on people facing socio-economic disadvantage. We will publish more information on the criteria for Nature for Health on 21 February.
