Several people gather in a community garden

People’s Health Trust has launched its new website. The website supports our work addressing health inequalities, using our evidence and learning to influence change locally and nationally.

We have been funding community organisations tackling health inequalities for over a decade. Our funding models are designed to support community-driven initiatives focused on the social determinants of health such as social connections, community power, and jobs and income.

Our website highlights the benefit of these local approaches to tackling the stark differences in life expectancy and quality of health throughout Great Britain and influence change on a national and local level.

You can find out more about the socio-economic factors behind this inequality in our new health inequalities section, and read more about our evidence and learning in our new publications section.

You can also find case studies, project stories and blog posts exploring how the Trust’s the barriers to good health communities experiencing the highest levels of disadvantage face, and the work the Trust’s funded partners are doing to address these barriers.

If you have any feedback about the website email us at communications@peopleshealthtrust.org.uk, or want more information on any aspect of the Trust’s work you can get in touch at enquiries@peopleshealthtrust.org.uk.
